Vampire Possession
Iyume and Mitzi fell back against the brick wall of their prison cell after being shoved in by a man in a white labcoat. "Enjoy your stay in our first-class prison cell, girls." He slammed the cell door closed with a clang that echoed off the brick walls.
Iyume curled up in one corner, trying to keep her arm from bleeding from a stab wound. She had other injuries as well; a nasty rash on her left shin, a blistery burn on her left arm, and numerous needle pricks in her right arm, just below where she was stabbed. Mitzi seemed to have fared better in the torture; she only had a burn mark on her right cheek. The blonde girl scooted a little closer to Iyume, ripping strips from her hospital robe to wrap around Iyume's arm.
Iyume sat up so Mitzi could take better care of her wound. "What the hell do they want with us?"
Mitzi shook her head, tears spilling down her cheeks in torrents. "I don't know, but I have to say, I'm really scared. More scared than I've ever been."
Iyume nodded, understanding what she meant. "Yeah. I don't ever want to go back in that padded cell back there. All that white hurts my eyes."
The shadows in the cell next to them shifted noisily, revealing a young man sitting in a crouch near the bars. "If you girls want out, I can help."
Mitzi wiped her eyes and nose and looked at the shadow. "Will you? We'd be grateful."
"Of course, it won't be free."
Iyume rolled her eyes. "Saw that one coming."
"Well pay you anything you want." Mitzi said firmly.
The man stood up, revealing that he was wearing a black hooded cape over black pants and a black tank top. The hood obscured his face, but he was still obviously young. He reached out and grasped the bars in front of him, his muscles flexing under his pale skin. Then, slowly, he pulled the bars apart and made a gap wide enough for them to get through. He gestured to them. "Come over here."
Mitzi went through first and helped Iyume through. Then they sat in the corner while the man shifted some trash on the floor in the middle of the cell. He lifted a brick from the floor, revealing a large tunnel that led out of sight. He nodded.
Mitzi carefully went through first, with Iyume close behind her. They crawled through the tunnel for what seemed like hours, until they came to an opening in a tree in the forest just outside the castle gates. Mitzi stood up and helped Iyume out, and the man popped out right after her. The just-risen moon made his cape look dark blue instead of black. He started walking through the dark forest, and he called out to them. "This way, hurry."
The two girls followed after the black figure until the moon was very high in the sky, almost midnight. They finally came to a well-hidden cave, miles from the castle where they were kept. They settled down in the back, where they could still see the entrance but weren't too close to it.
The man sat away from the two girls. "Do you know what that place was?"
Mitzi shook her head.
"It was an inhuman experimentation facility. They take NeoHumans and Travellers and other inhumans there to be experimented on. It's owned and run by the OmniZakiah."
"That explains a lot." Iyume muttered.
"Thanks so much for helping us. Now, what do you want as payment?" Mitzi said, very business-like.
The man then took off the hood that hid his face. He had long black hair that flowed down to his lower back, and bright red eyes. He looked to be no older than 19 or 20. He lifted his chin and looked directly at Iyume. "I want her blood."
Iyume coughed. "Excuse me?"
"I want your blood. I need to feed soon, and your blood will last me much longer than any other humans would, because you are an Energy-type."
Mitzi's face went white. "You're a vampire."
"Well, yes and no. I can only consume NeoHuman blood because of certain events that took place a long time ago. And, in case you're wondering, I could smell the energy in your fresh blood, and that's how I knew you were a NeoHuman. Now, will you pay?"
Iyume gulped. "You did save us from some homicidal maniacs, so... I guess I can. You won't kill me or make me a vampire though, will you?"
He laughed; a very mesmerizing sound. "No, I won't. I promise."
"One more question," Mitzi said. "How come you helped us even though you had an escape route all ready? Couldn't you have just left and hunted yourself?"
He sighed. "I like to have permission from my donators, so what better way to get willing people than to offer them freedom?"
"...I guess that's a better way than just going hunting."
"Thank you." He moved closer to Iyume. "Are you ready?"
Iyume glanced at her wound, already nearly healed. She sighed. "Please don't take too much. I've already lost a lot."
He moved even closer. "Don't worry, I won't."
Iyume sat in the awkward silence. "What should I do?"
The vampire was right next to her in a heartbeat, making her jump. He moved her hair out of the way, exposing her neck. He wrapped his arm around her back, as if to hold her still in case she tried to struggle. "Just hold very still, or it'll hurt more." He held her chin tightly and lifted her head up, and then quickly sank his fangs into her neck.
It hurt more than Iyume expected, and she started to struggle. When he began to suck the blood from the wound, she wanted to scream. She gasped for breath, and tears spilled down her face. She tried to push him away, but that seemed to make it hurt more, so she just tried to relax and wait for it to be over. Doing just that took almost every drop of her willpower.
After about three minutes, he pulled away, licking his lips clean of her blood. He held fast onto her, though, because she was very unstable because of the blood loss. Her heck was almost already healed by the time he set her down on the floor, so Mitzi didn't bother to bandage it. The vampire produced a chocolate bar from his pants pocket, and he handed it to Iyume.
Iyume snatched it from him, ripped the wrapping, and took a large bite out of it. "Joo should've gave dis to me firs', joo basdard."
He shrugged and smiled. "I forgot I had it until now."
She swallowed. "Sure you did."
Mitzi hovered over Iyume, concern written all over her face. "Are you alright?"
Iyume nodded, and then turned her attention to the vampire. "So, what's your name?"
"It's Vasska. I don't know my last name."
"And how old are you?"
"Physically, 24. But I've been that old for about 15 years."
"Only 15? So, you're like, young for a vampire." Mitzi chimed in.
"Maybe so, but I've learned a lot. Like how to take possession of human donors."
There was a silence before Iyume erupted. "SAY WHAT?!"
He smiled innocently. "Oh, sorry. I'm kind of your master now."
Mitzi held fast onto Iyume as she struggled to beat the crap out of Vasska. "But I though you could only posses other vampires, vampires you created."
"That's only true if they willingly become vampires by my hand. She hasn't had a single drop of my blood yet, so she won't turn, but she willingly gave her blood to me, and therefore I own her now, and it can't be changed."
Iyume screamed, "But I thought it was just a one-time thing!"
"Well, it would have been... if you had been specific about how much blood you wanted to give. But you didn't, so I own all of your blood now. At least until I release you."
"THEN RELEASE ME NOW!!!"
He smiled. "Sorry, but I'd rather not do that yet. Please understand."
Mitzi held on to her friend, and smiled stiffly. "Wow, Iyume. You're the property of a vampire now. Hope he treats you well." Then something occured to Mitzi. "Wait... if you prefer permission from your donors, but you own whoever donates... then that means Iyume is your first?"
Iyume's face burned red. "Don't say things like that, Mitzi!!"
Vasska scratched his head. "Um, I guess. It's the first time I've had self control enough to ask instead of just taking."
Iyume broke free and punched Vasska in the face, and then pointed at him threateningly. "I swear, if you dare make me do anything I don't want to, I'm gonna ask someone to kill you in the most painful way imaginable!"
Vasska rubbed his cheek and smiled innocently again. "Don't worry. I'll treat you well. The only thing I'll ask of you right now is to feed me at least once a week. That's all I'll ask for now."
Iyume glared at him, and turned away. She huffed a moment, debating her options. She couldn't disobey him now, she could feel his presence like a bad ghost waiting to take over her body. And even though he asked, she felt that it would just be worse if she said no. She glared at him. "Fine. Then I suppose you'll be joining us on our trip to the nearest Alliance base. We have things to discuss with Celitia."
Vasska stood up and lifted his hood back over his head. "Sounds good."
The three of them walked out of the cave in silence.
Iyume curled up in one corner, trying to keep her arm from bleeding from a stab wound.
